Man has made his match...now it's his problem

Blade Runner (1982)

Staring: Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Edward James Olmos, E. Emmet Walsh, Daryl Hannah, Joanna Cassidy, William Sanderson

Directed: Ridley Scott

Synopsis: Four replicants have escaped and returned to Earth, hoping to see out their time amongst the Humans. However, Blade Runner Deckard is enlisted to seek them out and terminate them, finding love along the way in the last place he would expect. Originally released with a voice over used to explain the story (against the wishes of Scott), the film flopped, only to have resurgence through the Director's Cut, where Scott removed the voice over and included many key scenes cut out of the original release. The film then received a third release with Scott making some additional changes as the Final Cut of the film.

Movie Posters:

First is the original release US One Sheet, on linen. Originally it was folded, single sided with some fold wear which detracted from the poster. Because it is a dark poster, the folds are very noticable. They are available rolled, but at a premium price for this highly sought after title.

Next is the Australia One Sheet, featuring different artwork and colouring. It is folded, single sided. This is an undersized poster, about half the size of a one sheet.

We then move to the re-releases of the film, beginning with the Director's Cut. This is the US One Sheet, rolled, single sided, featuring the same artwork as the original release.

The silver one to follow is for the VIDEO release of the Director's Cut. It is on thicker card stock and has an almost holographic look to it.

We come to the recent Final Cut release of the film, and have here the US One Sheet, rolled double sided, followed by the Australian release One Sheet (under sized) for the DVD release of the film. It is rolled single sided.

Finally we have the pair of posters from the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, for a screening of the film there. Posters are designed by Tyler Stout and are on thicker card stock. Firstly we have the regular, followed by the metallic variant.
